Why do you want to overclock with a moderate budget? You can have a look at other threads. There are innumerable threads for 25-30k range. Please look into those first to get an idea. And you can go for m5a97 instead of m5a88..

The thing is with with fx4100 you have to buy an entry level graphic card to play games.A8 3870k has a strong IGP with the help of which some games can be played well enough.

That graphic card is not that great for gaming.Get atleast an hd5670 or an hd6570ddr3 for some decent level of gaming.Or else stick to the APU(AMD A8).APU will get your money saved and provide you gaming performance that is equivalent or better than hd5450.

are those card not costly. I have seen reviews where people combined fx 4100 with hd 5450 and all games are working brilliant..... ? (reviews on flipkart)

hd6670ddr3 is around 4-4.2k.Get one if you are not going for APU.
If not going for APU then get i3 2100(6.5k)+GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H(4.2k)+hd6670ddr3@4k orhd6570ddr3@3.5k.
Else stick to the APU and save money.

^^Mate APU has good IGP which is decent enough for entry-level gameplay.Fx4100 has no IGP and in general in most of the tasks it is slower than i3 2100,only in some heavily multi-threaded tasks it is ahead of the i3 2100.Though for daily usage one can't find the difference between the three(s8 3870k,i3 2100,fx4100).
If you have the money then go for i3 2100+ GA-B75M-D3H+ discrete graphic card(atleast hd6570).Or better stick the APU and save money since you are concerned about gaming performance.
For gaming performance i3 2100>fx4100 and more so in lower resolutions.

First of all clocks don't determine the overall performance, neither the number of physical cores. There are various other factors.
i3 2100 has a clock of 3.1GHz.

In raw performance, yes. That is in single threaded tasks they are ahead. In multi-threaded tasks it depends. But in general i3 2100 has better raw performance than llano APU.
In tasks where GPU acceleration is required like photoshop cs6,gimp etc the A8 3870k will be significantly faster than i3 2100,considering that there is no discrete card in either of the system..
In daily tasks(normal usage) one can't notice the difference between them.
Moral of the story:if you can afford take i3 2100 with a decent entry level GPU or else stick to the APU.

In games like max payne 3 and gta IV which run better on a processor which can handle 4 threads simultaneously will be hampered in case of pentium g630.
From a processor side of things i3 2100 is definitely better with higher clocks and hyper-threading though not worth 3k over the pentium g630.
Otherwise for daily usage it is quite ok.
