Multimonitor setup not working

Hi Guys,

I got Lenovo thinkpad USB-C gen2 docking station where I can connect two monitors to my laptop.

I am able to connect the two monitors on my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop via the USB-C thunderbolt port but when I try my other laptop which also has the thunderbolt port USB-C port the display is not working. Both monitor says no signal.
Even though the mouse and keyboard I connected to the docking station works well on second laptop.

Does the second laptop support display port technology? Some usb-c thunderbolts don't have that, so it may be an issue. Also which model is it ??

How to check that ? the laptop has thunderbolt icon on USB-C port and also has separate display ports.

Does it have this "D" logo near the port? Also you can check it on the specs sheet of laptop. Or even on the website.

No. It doesn't have 'D' symbol. But the Lenovo laptops also don't have that symbol but still they are working fine with the Dock.

I have installed the Lenovo dock station drivers & thunderbolt software from Intel. But still issue is there.
Is this related to BIOS settings of thunderbolt. I read that thunderbolt is blocked in BIOS sometimes for non-secure connections ?

I think you should check this option also. Any idea if Lenovo uses some propietary medium over thunderbolt? this should not happen...

No idea what Lenovo uses. But their website says it should be compatible with other laptops/desktops
