Iam looking for an Mp3 player that can be recharged by connecting it to an external charger other than through the regular USB port as i will not have access to the computer.
Other Requirements:
512MB is also sufficient
Should have decent Audio clarity
FM radio
As i mentioned above i should be able to recharge without connecting to PC
Budget:Rs.2500MAX
Any good brand will do.
And please dont suggest me the cheap chinese mp4 players*www.techenclave.com/forums/images/smilies/sign42.gif

And it should look a bit flashy because iam going to gift it to my Sister*www.techenclave.com/forums/images/smilies/tongu23e.gif

Try the Transcend 610 player, the 1 Gb version should fit your budget.

It charges via USB, so u need to get a charger which would use AC power.
A decent one would cost u 60 bucks

The external AC Adapter can cause serious firmware damage.
I had bought one such adapter for myself, but during a 1 second voltage fluctuation, the whole firmware got damaged, I lost all my data and had to flash the firmware again. Using the USB Charger is the safest in that case
