from many days i m trying to figure out, does walkman phones support
mp3PRO format.

i had this info that song encoded at 64 kbps in mp3pro format is as good
as a song encoded at 128 kbps in normal mp3 format, saving nearly half
of the space.

thats wy it would be better for us to encode our songs in mp3pro, should
our walkman support it.

now my question is does walkman series phone supports mp3pro format.

i hav idea that mp3pro can be played in any normal player but
supporting in sense do they r capable of extracting extra qaulity from mp3PRO.

after this complex discussion u know wat i means.

No, none of the Sony ericsson walkman series phones support mp3Pro. What they support is mp3 & if you have a mp3pro encoded file it will play as normal mp3 without the benifits of mp3pro

For these phone go with 128kbps mp4\aac\m4a file.

Is that a question? For SE Walkman phones (or for any other :D)... @least 128kbps VBR AAC... feel the difference... feel the music...
PS.. I do @least 192kbps VBR AAC (Nero Digital Audio.. *.mp4) (got a 2GB MemStick u know :D)
