Yes, but this one new I got replacement, So it's a brand new device. Dude you can store many message as you want, no limit same Samsung SII and other phones.

u get this phone RMA'd from outside India?? as u mentioned above it doesnt carry any warranty

In US, for using Using USB Tethering and Wifi hotspot functionality for sharing Internet connection, sometimes you need to buy plans from the Network providers and most cases the Phone does not support those functionalists out of the box unless rooted or updated with a custom ROM. These is also very common with most of the MOTOROLA Phones. Could you confirm that those two functionality are supported?
