hello friends,
the motherboard of my pentium 4 processor is not functioning.I'm planning to get a new one.I need your advice on it. (DDR1)
please help me.

For start you can start searching Museum of Computer History for a specimen. :p

GO with the Config given by Sam in other thread. Looking for a mobo for that old crap is waste of money.

AFAIK, Zebronics and Mercury still are making mobos for Pentium 4. So, contact either of their distributors in your area for mobo. And they cost around 2k.

most G31/G41 board support Pentium4 (if pin compatible). but no use using DDR1.

Yup, that's for newer P4s with 775 Pins. But most user have the older one with 478 Pins or so.

Don't waste more money better buy processor,motherboard & ram.

@ OP - if you have 478 pin P4 cpu you can get a mobo for as low 1.5k-1.8k available onDelta Peripherals .
