Live Kali Linux Booting into grub console

Hello All,
I have recently made a live kali image through rufus and was trying to boot it from the USB . Both my laptops boot into the grub console and I don't see the menu to boot into the live image file .
Can someone please help me out on this issue , thanks !

Seems like broken GRUB install. Have you installed using UEFI boot?

This issue also comes sometimes if you mount the wrong EFI partition when installing. Have you mounted your EFI partition as /boot or /boot/efi?

What was the source of ISO? Did you download it from official Kali site? Did you verify the checksum?

Can you show the screenshot of what options you selected in Rufus? Did Rufus ask you to opt between ISO mode or DD mode? What did you select?

it was from kali itself . i downloaded the liveeverythingiso . I choose ISO Mode.
Anyway , I installed ubuntu now.

Ironically I used to face this issue with Ubuntu long time back.

This happens when after installing the os, grub is not able to find OS. For eg. if you do dualboot then wipe windows partition without configuring grub, you get this error as grub is not able to find that partition.

Reinstall it.
