Lightweight budget laptop for Matlab

Hi,
I am helping my cousin choose a laptop. The requirements are that it should be lightweight, should be able to run MATLAB and should be as economical as possible (exact budget not fixed). Ethernet port is must.

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
As low as possible.

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
As Lightweight as possible.

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
MATLab. As per vendor website, 2 GB RAM is needed and recommends 1 GB Graphics card. Not much details on CPU required.

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Since low end models are unlikely to have dedicated Graphics, I feel 4 GB RAM should be minimum.
Not sure if Core-i3 or equivalent is required or if a Celeron based processor is sufficient.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Nothing specific
b. Dislike: Acer

6) Anything else you would like to say?
Asus X200LA-KX037H appears to be available at 27k (1.24 kg weight, Core i3, 4 GB RAM, Windows pre-installed), but I dont know how much integrated graphics memory is available. I am also open to other suggestions.

Thanks in advance,
Arun

Matlab slutters on my i5 Y510p.

If in your convenience get a desktop or go with full voltage processors HQ or M or H.

Do not buy U processors.
It will lag till death.

Forget running matlab on lightweight laptops fluently. They generally have poor CPUs for such tasks.

Get an assembled desktop as suggested above.

Thanks for your inputs... Its been years since I used Matlab, so I have no idea of processor requirement.

Still, please give feedback on suitable system, even if price becomes a bit higher, lightweight laptop is needed.

Thanks again
Arun
