Laptop for basic day to day use | 25K budget

Hello! I am looking a very basic, reliable laptop for regular use like excel, songs, movies, browsing etc.
Please suggest me a laptop. I am planning to buy it in diwali sale from Amazon/Flipkart.

1) What is your budget? 25k INR

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

• 14-15 inch

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?

Office work spreadsheet,

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
i3 or Pentium

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: dell, hp, asus
b. Dislike: cheap Chinese brands with bloatware

6) Anything else you would like to say?
Good to have -
1. CD-DVD drive
2. Numeric keypad

CD/DVD drive in laptops is dying,most good models don't have one & there is actually not much need for an optical drive nowadays. Btw bloatware will be there with all pre-installed windows from any brand.You must get a ssd & 8gb ram(if not already there) to avoid frustration of using win 10 on a hdd with 4gb ram.

CD-DVD is optional.
Also which will be better Core i3 Model or Pentium based processor?
I do not want to go for AMD based processor due to not supporting different libraries.

Can you suggest some good models? I am ok with compromising 8GB RAM or SSDs, as I can upgrade it later.

Don't go below core i3 8th gen.Also I do not know what libraries are you talking about unless it is related to some code development in which case getting a 25k laptop may not be the best idea.
