I need to buy a laptop around 50,000 Rs.
15-17 inch wide screen LCD
4 gb ram,
500 GB 7200 RPM HDD
5.1 sound
can able to play most games.
Please give ur valuble suggestions & also any links u know

HP DV4t with Intel Media accelarator (on board gpu) will cost u around 43-44K but do not expect to run all games on it.. for a decent laptop for game playing, there shud be atleast 512mb dedicated gpu....wich will cost u around 53-54K.... (HP dv5t 1142tx)

But still....laptops weren't meant to be used for all game types..

i have an hp that does not work with xp

It must be able to work on windows XP & why not windows 7. I hate vista.
