Lag due to gapps

Hello guys,

I rooted my Xperia sp and unlocked the bootloader by the official way. Then I installed custom roms ranging from CRYSTAL PA and AOKP NON OFFICIAL.

Everything runs smoothly till I flash gapps. After flashing gapps, everything gets clunky, the soft keys take a long time to respond and fps drops too. This only happens after flashing the gapps.

I've tried to flash other gapps related to the custom rom (android 4.4.4) but same story. I've changed custom roms too but can't figure out the lag.

I download the gapps zip files from

Any help guys? I even tried to run seeder and lag fix but no help?

You cleared cache and dalvic after flashing the rom and again after flashing the gapps right?

You mean dalvik cache and wipe cache in cwm? Yeah I did that. But no luck..

Now the device is running without lag?

Yeah somewhat. Very little lags when compared to previous roms

Yeah, basically it was the ROM, not the G-Apps.

Try to flash different version of gapps.

Now, another problem . After flashing all of these, incall volume of my device is very low even in loudspeaker.. I tried flashing some mods to rectify it but of no use,,

Any suggestions?

Yeah I can revert back but default rom lags like hell...

So looking for an alternative.

Guys, if I revert back to default rom and locked bootloader then I get my warranty back?

I want to give it to service center.. So.. By locking the bootloader, do I get my warranty back?

Yeah locked bootloader is required if you want to sent your device to the service center.
