hey friends,
i have heard that a USB flash drive can be used as a RAM in vista......
never tried though....

but my query is can i use my ipod shuffle as a flash drive, consequently as a RAM in vista? will it work???
ofcourse it should be able to solve the basic purpose of extended memory to speed up the apps and support vista integrated features.

PARDON, if this has already been discusssed. couldn't find in the search results.

thats exactly what i am asking......

ipods can be used as a flash drive, no doubt. ok?
and flash drives can be used as RAM ( one of the vista integrated feature)
so ultimately it may possible that ipod work as a RAM....

thats the concept......i am not sure....thats why asking here....somebody should try it.
i dont have vista installed in my sytem.
but planning to buy one.

i have read somewhere about Vista's new ReadyBoost feature which says a spare USB 2.0 key with enough space can speed up the OS performance.
