Invalid Boot.INI file !!!!!

whenever my system starts booting it shows the above message for a few seconds. however it doesnt seem to affect my system. Wht could be the reason? Pls help me out.

This can happen if there are any incorrect entries in Boot.ini file. You have to rebuild Boot.ini file. Take a look here for a How-To.

Simply boot into windows XP, type msconfig in Run dialog box.
When the windows opens, goto Boot.ini tab and click on Check all boot paths button.
