Importing a 1080 Ti from US

Did anyone try it? With open box can you import the GPU without customs?

Carried .... Can they avoid customs on it as I guess it is more expensive than 40k even in the US. Importing with import duties costs as much as buying in India at local shop

I think there was some limitations implemented on the quantity some time back, but if its just one box (open would be good) there are no customs. You will get it at US price.
There was one time when I bought back 2 iphones and an xbox 360 from US, and wasn't charged even a penny for it.

You can bring openbox items without any customs.
people bring phones, laptops, consoles etc from US without customs
