Try the ones mentioned in app center or something other as per your OS.

ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx . Available in software center but i want to download and install manually . is it possible :-(

Yes its possible but requires a bit of knowledge of commands. Just Google and you'll find out how to do. :)

Use 12.04 LTS. 10.04 is way too old.

You're better off downloading via Ubuntu Software Center. Kget will also require the installation of KDElibs.

i had used 12.04 LTS , but interface was not good for me. there is missing of accesories ,menu , as on 10.04 . thats why i am not used 12.04.

UI changes with time, you should get used to it and use the latest one. :)

Easy. Install Xfce on 12.04 LTS.
