same here. last week i bought an ide to sata converter for rs.275/- only. but the problem is nowadays it comes with female connector only so that u'll have to install it directly on ur mobo. it works fine upto 80gb. i tried connecting it to ide cable with male connector but it didn't worked.
experts plz help. is there any way i can use both my hdd (ide and sata) together? my second ide slot is engaged by dvd writer and cd-rom drive which i don't want to remove. and ide to sata pci card is too expensive for this purpose.

do u mean by pci card? if it is so then i'm ready to pay rs.500/- for it.
