Hi,
I recently bought a HP Pavillion DV6-6121TX laptop and i am facing a problem switching from the Intel Graphics to ATI Radeon 6700 2 GB graphics card. How do i do that?
When I use the Catalyst Control Center to assign power saving or performance mode to different applications, it doesnt work. I assigned Performance mode to windows media player classic, but when i play any video, it doesn't play it remains stopped.
Is there any solution for this?

THAT is the correct way to switch graphics.
You don't need the 6770M to play movies. HD3000 is more than enough.

Probably a problem with your file.

I have played more than dozen different files, divx, avi, xvid, mkv, NONE of them play when i assign it under the high performance mode.

Yeah, all of those files work fine in the power saving mode. Moreover, the playback is kind of blocky. Its not as great as it is on my 2 year old desktop. But the bottomline is that in high performance mode doesnt allow for playback of the videos.
