Goto the virtual machine in main screen library->
My computer.
Below it you will get a list of all vietual machines by their name.
Right click in the virtual machine:s name.
Select settings at the bottom of the popup menu.
You will get two different panels . Virtual machine settings -> Hardware settings / Options.
Goto Options tab.
Select shared folders tab.
It:ll be disabled by default.
Choose the option "always enabled".
Add the path of the shared folder from the box given below.

The steps may vary depending on the version of VMware. Go to help topics and search for 'share'. It will show the steps for your version of VMware.
