i have a P4 running on 845GL having 256 MB RAM.In graphics prop, it shows that my max is 64 MB.But in BIOS there is an option to increase memory but it does not work. How to change it? pls help
u mean u got INTEL ONBOARD GRAPHICS CARD?? well as far as i know.. u cant do anythin of that sort unless ur grahics card memory is shared.. it shld say 64mb ddr ram shared graphics.. like that n so.. else u cant..
you cant do diddly squat to increase you onboard memory period
the Graphics Aperture Size in the BIOS is not for increasing the memory, it works in a different way !
Simple add on a graphic card with More Video memory
Come on yaar the Shared memory of Onboard is fixed by the Manufacturers and there aint a Darn person in the world who can increase it.....Btw 64MB DDR shared meaning that the Video Memory Is Shared from some Amount of Physical Ram
