after a certain amount of time opera say that it has perfromed an illegal operation and will be terminated

reinstalling doesn't solves the problem

i use opera in 98 and not in xp

I get this frequently in IE 6 . I just close it and then open it again.

Any soln for it.

Which version of Opera are you using? goto main toolbar > help > About Opera

then uninstall -> upgade coz maybe they hav lready fixed this bug
Heard bout this happening in Opera+JVM scenario

Even I faced this same problem. I uninstalled my IE 6 first and then reinstalled it. The problem got solved.
