Hi guys can u help me selecting from these options...........

Q6600 vs QX6700(is there really any benefit of QX6700 over Q6600?)

Abit IP35 Pro vs. Abit IX 38 QuadGT(Same question........what benefit?)

Any other MB comparable to Abit boards and having SLi?

GFX cards: Which is better??

XFX 8800GT(512 MB DDR3 PV-T88P-YDF4)(Source: theitwares.com)
EVGA 8800 GT KO "Knock-Out"(512MB DDR3 KO “Knock-Out”)
MSI 8800GT OC Edition(512MB DDR3)

Or any other gfx card of 8800 series, 512 MB and under 13k??

1>Intel has reduced prices on most of its processors.so better wait till the price cut takes affect in India.after that if price diff aint much then go for QX6700 else Q6600.

2>if u hav the money then go 4 IX38 Quad GT (performs better than IP35 Pro) else IP35 Pro aint a bad board either.

intel's X38/X48 chipsets are mainly aimed at the enthusiasts, OCers etc

IP35 pro is a pretty good and popular board :D

also ASUS P5N-E SLI (nForce 650i) is a pretty good budget SLI board

btw as said above, wait for the price cuts to take effect here, so that you can save a few bucks ;)

get from XFX or Asus both have good support in India ;)

just go by your budget in choosing one... I dont think you would be fretting over a 50Mhz clock increase in a factory OCed card :D

I think AbiT IX38 Quad GT doesn't support SLi..............its website shows it supports Crossfire..............

Any performance dip b/w Crossfire and SLi??

Crossfire scales and is more flexible compared to SLI.

Go for IP35 Pro if you are not going to do Crossfire and do some serious overclocking.

Q6600 should be good,if price difference isnt much get Q6700.

EVGA KO edition is decent and reliable.Gigabyte non reference design card is also worth looking at and is damn cheap.

go for EVGA 8800 GT KO "Knock-Out" edition . it will outperform other 8800gt in your selection

Hi

I am Rahul frm theitwares .... my suggestion

Q6600

ABIT really all 3 Boards are just really awesome go for performance

Graphics nothing Beats EVGA or MSI both are better than XFX if u look from price or performance ratio.

Also the aftersales service of these is way better than Rashi's who'll give u after sales service for XFX or Asus.
