Cannot Monitor Temperature of HardDisk.

Hii..
I want to monitor the temperature of my HardDrives but i am unable to do so.
I have tried using HddTemp (*www.hddtemp.com)
It says "We cant find in your system any hard drives supports temperature"
other softwares are also unable to monitor.

I am using Vista.
HDD Models are ST3160827AS and ST3250824AS
My Bios shows that my HDDs supports SMART mode.

Earlier when i was using XP it used to show the temperature.

Whats the Problem..pls Help.

Try HDTune or SpeedFan.

I tried HDTune and SpeedFan but still no luck.

and in Device Manager it shows SCSI , but i have SATA HDDs.

no Everest ultimate is not working too...pls help anybody.! is there no solution ?

Nope this doesnt work too......any professional guys here..pls help
trying new software doesnt solve the problem.

Hmmm.... Does your PC motherboard has nVidia chipset? It seems that nVidia chipset PCs running Vista have some issues regarding S.M.A.R.T. You may want to check these threads:

nopes its not working swatkat..anyways thanks for your help.
thanks everyone for your help.... its much time now i have been googling for the solution....after which i have come to the conclusion thats its the problem with VISTA only..may be a chipset diver or any other i dont know.
i installed XP it works, i used ACtive smart cheker tool using bootable Hirens Boot CD it shows S.M.A.R.T info there tooo.
Just Accept it Vista SUCKs!

well i never faced ne probs like this with vista... i use Genuine Ultimate Edition with SP1

and have 4 HDD's:

WD6400AAKS
WD6400AACS
one seagate 120 gb
one samsung 80GB
no probs at all
