HD 6870 on AMD phenom 940 ??

I've decided HD 6870 or HD 6850 ?? I am using 790GX mobo with Phenom 940BE Proccy

My Question is ->

1. Will HD 6870 to use with Phenom 940BE - Will the Processor Bottleneck ??
   
2. Shall I Crossfire 2 X HD 6850 with phenom 940BE ??
   
3. Will DDR2 RAM is Suffice for Playing Games with HD 6870 ??

Its no way a bottleneck. U may get a single card or CF.

What is the speed of your ram? greater size ram means lesser loading time. I had less amount of ram and my games used to crash because of that.

Won't be a problem with 4gb ram on board, i had just 1gb and all the latest games used to crash. Upgraded to 2gb and ever thing ran smooth.

Damn - i forgot abt ur Q9550 u r cross-firing HD 4890 , also u just reached 4ghz with Noctua it seems . But i cant OC more than 3.4Ghz its 140W TDP processor !

Never got beyond 3.85 Ghz. Motherboard issue. Just does not stay stable.

No, it is not better than GTX 460 1 GB as it is released to compete with the 768 MB version. However, it offers almost same performance of the GTX 460 1 GB in most of the benchmarks.

Most of them take their Q9550 to 4Ghz with TRUE 120 ! MSI P45 Platinum has nice NB cooler right ??
