Hi,

I want to run Mac OS - Leopard and Windows XP on my desktop. I have two hard disks. My question is -

1. Can I make both primary (putting jumpers in both)?

2. I will install Windows XP and Ubuntu in one; and Mac in the other.

3. Now can I simply choose the boot order from BIOD while booting, and the computer will start in the selected OS?

Cheers

1. Nope (BTW are u using IDE or sata hdds?)
2. Yup. So?
3. Yep. Kinda.
Just do 1 thing. Install OS X in one hdd and XP then ubuntu in the other. then add an entry for OS X in GRUB. Now keep the OS X hdd as the secondary one.

Thanx Pathik for your reply.

I am using IDE HDDs.

XP and Ubuntu are already installed in my 1 HDD.

I have formatted my second HDD and not it's primed for Mac. As suggested I would remove the other HDD temporarily; make this one primary and install Mac OS on it.

Then I would connect the XP/Ubuntu HDD, make that primary and the Mac one as secondary.

Now can you please guide me on how to add an entry for Mac in Grub?

Cheers

Nitin
