Broken In
I thought of trying out Gparted after reading from this month's Fastrack (Its in the System Tools Section). I downloaded the iso file from the site and created a cd-rom. Went into the bios and put the first boot device as CD-ROM......and then the software did not work.......why?

First of all.....does this software work on windows? Coz on the site there were things like linux distro or something and some commands like
"#yum install gparted"
which i'm pretty sure are not for windows.

Any answers?

What do you mean by "did not work"? The CD did not boot or it did not boot properly? No offense but have you ever create CDs from ISOs before? Did you create CD properly?

No pain....No gain
I use Gparted, which was included in the ubuntu ISO (which I had downloaded a few months ago) for partitioning the HDD. It's a good tool. Yes it was made for linux but work for windows partions also. I was able to partition the HDD with NTFS,FAT32,FAT etc. also was able to resize without any problem.
