msi b85-g43 -5.8k
kingston hyperX blue 4gb -2.4k
WD blue 1 Tb -4.3k
cabinet -1k
antec vp450p -2.9k
Dell s2240l -10k
Keyboard and mouse - 800

prices from flipkart.

^ sorry, didn't notice that :p

i5 4430 (12000)
Asus B85M-G (6200)
Kingston hyperX blu 1600 MHz 4 GB (2400)
WD 500 GB (3200)
Seasonic S12II 520 W (4300)
Bit Fenix Merc Alpha (3200)
Asus optical drive (1050)
Logitech MK200 (850)
Dell S2240L (9000)

total: 42k

this is quite above your mentioned budget, but if you end up buying a card like GTX 660, then an intel config below this wouldn't do justice to it :p

CAn you give us an idea of how much budget will you have for the graphic card?

i dont plan on making any upgrades other than gpu.

Asus B85M-G (6200)
Kingston hyperX blu 1600 MHz 4 GB (2400)
WD 500 GB (3200)
Corsair CX500v2 (3800)
local cabinet without PSU (900)
Asus optical drive (1050)
Logitech MK200 (850)

Ram is from Flipkart, rest all prices are from mdcomputers.in and local prices at which forum members have been getting the products.

The local dealer is giving pretty high prices, even higher than what flipkart is offering. i will be buying online.
How is the service of MDcomputers.in?
Any one from mangalore here? if yes, do u recommend any shops?

mdcomputers is good, though confirm the product availability on call before placing an order. they usually don't update their website.

OP has already mentioned that that he does not intend to purchase a power GPU like 660. 500 W PSU will be enough.
