Sorry guys but this is my first post here, excuse me if I did anything wrong on my part :) Lets get to business now :)

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Generic answers will not work. Be exact and avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: I would be mainly gaming on this rig and occasional CAD/CAM work and some video encoding, I also plan to learn Photoshop and adobe after affects.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:As of now, my budget is about 45k, can be raised to about 50k but not more than that.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Yes, slightly not heavy overclocking but just a bump in the frequency by about 200-300MHz for that oomph.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:I would be using Windows 8 developer version and will buy it once it comes out, so the OS is out of question right now.

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1-2TB would be nice, I would also consider having a 500GB 7200RPM HDD and a cheap TB drive if its pretty cheap overall.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:I DO have a monitor but I would plan to buy a new one, 20-22" within a good price bracket is what I am looking for.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:As of now, I don't want to retain any part from my current rig as I would be using this as a backup rig.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Within a month.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:I can assemble a CPU myself, had pretty good experience at it ;) A professional assembler wont be necessary unless you guys plan on giving me a water cooler xD

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:I live in Hyderabad, I don't want to buy stuff online, I will walk over to a shop and physically check before purchasing.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:I need a graphic card with a very nice punch the 6900-560Ti range, also I don't want any bottle necks at the same time, the graphic card should really get on with the processor, I don't plan on heavy overclocking or RAID or crossfire setups so the motherboard could be a pretty basic one as well as long as it doesn't affect the performance.

Ok, basically I don't need the greatest motherboard here. USB3 is a premium which I don't need right now and I will change my motherboard within a couple of years anyway, so please suggest a cheaper version of the motherboard, I don't need the speakers as well and also the 1GB extra bump in the graphics memory is also a premium which I don't need. I also got NZXT Vulcan in mind for lan parties. I also think that I would need 6/8 GB primar memory to make it a lil more future proof and also when I run CAD/CAM software.

Cheers,
Anil Sharma.

Are there other alternatives for the board? I don't want USB 3 as of now, because I can squeeze in a pair of headphones and UPS in the 50k also, 955BE is better because I can overclock it to 3.2GHz xD I am sorry if I am being a noob but, I am just trying to tone it down a little. Suggest a good pair of headphones and UPS in the 50k bracket :)

Right now the price difference between 955 and 965 is just 300 bucks and I don't think you can get something decent by saving that much amount of money.
2ndly don't just go for a cheap motherboard. A good motherboard is always welcome to host a powerful config because it offers much future upgrade options and better tweaking potential compared to cheap motherboards.

And Ram price is edited.
