Hi,

Will be glad if you guys could help.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
- Essentially for gaming. Games like far cry 3, hitman absolution, max payne 3. Also games like watch dogs, bioshock infinite, dead space 3, gta V.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
- 40k-45k

3. Planning to overclock?
- No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
- Windows 8 (Already have a copy)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
- 500GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
- 23 Inch Full HD Monitor (LCD/LED)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
- Keyboard, Mouse & Speakers.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
- 2 weeks

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
- Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
- Bangalore, will buy locally

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
- I know the budget is tight, so I'd prefer an AMD configuration. Have used that in the past with no issues.

Will really appreciate if you guys can come up with some suggestions. Cheers!

The config in my signature costed me approx. 45k (excluding the HDD) a few months back. So the overall pattern will look somewhat like it, the 960T is out of stock almost everywhere I guess and also I'm unaware of the the current generation GPU's price and performace. So do wait for some more time for the experts to respond.

Hey, thanks for the list. Where did you get the price for Sapphire HD 7970 as 14.5k? I'm seeing almost double on Flipkart and elsehwre.
