A gaming rig..

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run?
gaming and animation like 3ds max after effects etc

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention
23k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Not req for now

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Monitor, KB, mouse, speakers, HDD, GPU, Pcu

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: In 10 days

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Done by me

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Mumbai, local

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Components needed : proccy, mobo, RAM, Cabinet,

I5 2400 @ 11K
Intel DH67CL B3 @ 5.5K
CORSAIR Value Select 2x4 GB @ 2.5K
NZXT Source Elite 210 @ 3K
Total 22K .Or Get a Single 4 GB RAM and a Good Cabbie like Corsair 400R @5K

Speaking the truth ,The days for AMD fanboism are over now.AMD has given up comparing to end Intel processors.

Get a Core I5-2500k @~11800. It it currently one of the best in the market at that price range. Much much better than bulldozer in terms of capability and performance.
Bulldozer itself has been a failure.:( , even A Phenom II X4 980 will beat the bulldozer core to core performance wise.

Just a question i5 2500k is better then amd 8150 which is soon to get more updates and has more cores? How about trinity or pile driver? It's about to be out right will it be the same price ? Shall I get i5 2500k or the cheapest version of i7 it'll cost about 16k will it be better then i5 2500 well it's gonna be 40 percent gaming and 40 percent adobe after effects and rest 20 for movies and surfing net

Since I don't know much are you'll sure I should skip 8150 I saw few game plays and it seemed good no I don't wanna check benchmarks personal experience will do :) if I play games I play on highest I can always update graphic card and max ram to 32gb but I still need strong processor :)

One more thing I have corsair cx 430 v2 I bet it'll be able to handle all this I had spend 2k+ will it work or do I have to change it

Just help me out thank you

I said it earlier as well , that When comparing Bulldozer/AMD and Core I series CPU's from Intel , never look for their configuration.Specially not the Cache and frequency ,and cores.
You should study their performance, architecture, design and benchmarks rather to see the actual difference.

Intel has produced a very superior CPU architecture that is way faster than AMD.
You can see why Core Is don't have big L2 caches , unlike earlier.
Most of the Applications and Games don't use more than 2 or 3 cores.
Having Core-I5 which is Quad-Core is future proof for some-time as is not an over-kill.

Bulldozer will only benefit when running Vmwares and other similiar applications that can use as many cores as possible.

Let me explain this to you in more efficient manner.
"You have a PC with 32GB DDR2 ram , and you have another PC with 8GB DDR3 ram. ,"
"Here the DDR2 is bulldozer and DDR3 is Core-I5".
Now since you can't maximize you RAM usage for more than 6-7 GB , what is the use of rest of the 25GB ram ? You need faster RAm , not Too much Ram.

For a Processor within 13k range , 2500k is always a better choice. And its one of the best overclockable processors.Even at stock this is Awesome.

Regarding maximizing the RAM to 32 gb , this will not make any difference at all compared to having 8GB Ram, unless you run hell lots of apps and games at once.

More RAM will only allow you to run multiple applications a time , but it will not make your PC any faster.
RAM is meant to store data in a temporary memory for faster access , just like CACHE , but its much bigger in size. So more the RAM , the bettr multitasking it would perform , by holding more information at a time. But 32GB is again over-kill.Since you cant use that much all at once. :p

And AFA , core I7 cpu's are concerned , please contact some forum Experts.Though most good Core-i7 are above 20k.
I think you might need one of those in case you are performing Video editing ,etc.

I hope I made my point clear.

If you are not looking for Overclocking then AMDs are worse at stock , also I think you can hunt for Ivory Bridges versions of Core Series from Intel instead of Sandy Bridge.Since they have higher Stock clock rates.

Uhmmmm what bout my pcu is it good enough hum well 8 cores are a waste even for future right is pile driver or trinity a failure too

Well , I dont think Trinity is a failure. There are Trinity based laptops from HP ruling the gaming market segment of 35k below.

Trinity > i5 .

Only If you are talking about the Ondie , Integrated Graphic processor then Trinity will beat anything in gaming.

However as per processor performance don't expect it.
A-10 will not beat Intel's Medium range Core I5 Sandy bridge namely Core i5 2410M.

Core i5-2410M will have ~20%-30% more performance benefit than Trinity A10-460.
Leave the high-end Core I series and new Ivory Bridges.

Trinity is meant for Cheaper gaming laptop users and it does it well.
