explorer not responding !!??

have been using vista home premium (genuine)since last 4-5 months ... and now whenever I open "certain" folders a annoying "explorer is not responding " pops up and then explorer.exe restarts ... Got it scanned with kaspersky with latest virus def. but still no hope...

can you try once in safe mode??
Also turn off system restore and do online scan.
