Broken In
After a reboot, I saw that the desktop was blank. I opened the task manager and saw that most of the processes had started, but explorer.exe had not, so I manually started it, but every time I start it, the desktop comes and then goes away after about seven to eight seconds. I have tried rebooting, system restore, and I found a method on google, something about checking the system files by typing sysscan or something in Start>Run, but nothing has helped. From what I have understood, the explorer shell has become corrupt, so is there any way to repair it?

Thanks.

Insert XPCD & reboot your system, select Repair option when OS installation asks you to choose the appropriate option for your work done.
