explorer crashing after update

i've instaled IE7 and since then explorer is not starting/crashing, though IE is working properly. how can IE be uninstalled? even control is not running. please help

Go to safe mode and uninstal from add/remove programs or use third party software

control panel is also not running. any other way to launch add/remove programs?

you can install Ccleaner and there u have option add/remove programs.... u can remove it from there

How can IE7 installation can cause problem for explerer.Are you sure....this problem arised just after installation of IE7.


If U want to uninstall IE7.....but as you said Add or remove is also not opening.


A simple solution is............restore windows XP

Login as Administrator.
Start-->>All Programs-->>Accessories-->>System Tools-->>System Restore.

On the System Restore page-->>Restore my computer to an earlier time -->>click next.

select the best known time...and restore XP.
restart ..Done!!

I have uninstalled IE7 using MyUninstaller (easier to download over net being just 34 KB) and now everything works fine.
