It is just like putting two souls in one body.Think it with your own mind man.

it is possible...
just make two pppoe connections.
auto pppoe at modem level wont work.

but the problem here becomes that when something is being downloaded it will use ony one connection.ie if it starts with one connection it will stay there. when ever a ne connection for download wil be created it will choose one of the two to go thru...
the thing is that there is no load balancing mech for multiple connections.AFAIK

I have done it in linux.. not sure abt windows. but i checked .. we can create multiple pppoe connections so i this it is possible easily.. btu the above stated problem remains. may be there are tools over the net to sort this out

the best way is to do it practicaly.

hmm now we r talking..

If u have 2 Phone Line, 2 ADSL modem... then yes... its worth a try...

Just get 2 LAN card, or plug both with 2 USB or one in LAN other in USB

now in one ADSL modem make sure u change its defaul IP (thats 192.168.1.1) to 192.168.0.1

and the second one will stay default... 192.168.1.1

now asign or LAN card IP as per the modem u have connected..

in the both modem make sure all the connections (which can be found in SETUP tab) bridge except one which u change to PPPoE then input ur user name and PW... save all settings and Restart the modem...

now in network connection window of out computer, bridge the 2 LAN connection :)

this is the part what i tried at my place but failed.... because BSNL at my area didnt supported this... hope it works out with u...

Why 2 LAN cards?? I have mah PC connected to net via ethernet cable and to other PC via USB cable. That means 2 networks are attached to mah main PC...isnt it?
@KULdeep.......Yes the concept of a machine having 2 IPs is real and very practical to me. I dunno abt pppoe connections as I have never tried it...but yeah 2 net connections are possible!
