Darksiders Genesis

Darksiders 3 ruined the series's fun for me with its lackluster, complex gameplay.
Lets see, how this goes.

Oh, so it's the 4th horseman? That means this is basically the sequel to Darksiders 3.

Did not play Darksiders 3. Did anyone play here?

Read lots of bad reviews of the game. Any first hand opinion here?
(I have played DS1 and DS2 though. Liked both)

A good thing i liked about this game is - we can play as either 'Strife' or 'War' (in single-player). In co-player mode, you can select one and your friend can be other one.
Adding 'Death' and 'Fury' would've been really cool, for their 'Scythe' and 'Whiplash' based combos in this game.
