crysis 2 on 8700m GT 2 CARDS 512MB

Hi guys i had a DELL xps 17 running with nvidia 8700m gt 2 cards . I installed the game crysis 2 and i got a message that the card is not supported by the game . I quite to avoid any further issue could cause by the game to the system. Is that fine that this card can play at a decent setting at least medium.

Just open the game.The game would most probably run.

Ya its running at 1440x900 without any issues but if i change to higher resolution video are stagger y.

BTW can i run Crysis and Crysis2 in my PC with Intel HD2000 graphics..

But one of my friends who has i5-650 says he is playing Crysis 2 at descent resolutions.
So, why cant i play then..

The problem is that Crysis 2 minimum requirement is -
Nvidia GFX Card - GeForce 8800 GT

So you are a bit below that hence the problem

That means you mean HD Graphics of i5-650 is better than HD2000 SB i.e i5-2400..
How can it be so!!!

@saswat Play Crysis2.A g41 chipset can also play the game quite smoothly with low settings.

at resolution of 1024X768, game should run without much FPS drop if you keep everything @ low. but most likely same won't happen with Crysis & Warhead.
