If you manage to survive through +2 in science, there will not arise a question of how tough science is after that. There only will be this doubt - how much science do they teach you after that? Cause you just won't be satisfied by the amount they do.

Agreed, a bit of it is redundant, first year especially, but after it its all interesting. :)

And, grades do matter but not so much as your level of understanding and innovating does. Go for science if you really have a burning desire to get into the know-how of things. :)

If you like to study science, then its not all that difficult. Although things may seem a little tougher in the beginning compared to school, you will eventually get used to it... Its better if you choose subjects where you have interests rather than choosing subjects you are not interested in(this will make things even more tougher:D)

The only advice you'll ever need.

Study what you like. To hell with jobs and peer pressures. It's not worth thinking about that. Think of a career you want to pursue. If it needs science or commerce, go for it.

Ultimately when you die, it's not going to matter if you passed out from IITs/IIMs, earned sh!t loads of money, drove a BMW, lived in a penthouse, etc. Happiness should be your priority.

Wish someone was there to tell me this when I was in your age.

Just my $0.02, it's upto to decide. But please do what your heart says. It may guide you wrong, but it always the right thing to follow it.

Go for IB if you want the freedom to select your own subjects. You can mix arts+com+sci..
