Hi,
I have configured my explorer to show the folders pane on the left, the icons in the middle, and the details pane at the bottom.
It is this bottom details pain that I want to configure to display the resolution of jpeg images. Either it can display horizontal and vertical resolutions, or it can display just the total resolution.
Pleae look at the below screen shot to see exactly what I mean.

I do not want to change the folder view to detail view, I need the folder view to be in thumbnails. I just want a way by which I can click a jpeg file and it shows me its resolution in the detail pane. The detail pane already shows the size and dimensions, so I think there should be some registry trick that can also display the resolution down there.
Thanks.

I posted 2 questions here and 0 replies to both of them.
Anyway, I managed to figure out the registry changes required.

I did not understand what u meant at first on your question. U said u want to have the resolution of the pics and practically they are displayed in the window. You must specifically ask that you want the DPI information.

I think I could have explained it better. I've been in graphics and print and scanning for some years now, and we begin to refer to the dpi are resolution loosly.

Anyway, I had more questions about vista, but juding that I only got 1 response to 2 of my posts, i'm not sure whether to post or not.
