As usually, scan your computer with AVG 8.00.... it may be solve your problem..

if the problem continues,
Check your Motherboard with professionals..

it may be hardware conflict im not sure. i changed my mobo from 650i xfx to asus p5nesli without reinstalling windows, it kinda worked so i guess no probs. as for heat well i dont think theres heat probs. i checked my bios there was a thing called halt on errors on. is it possible this may be a cause. when i checked event viewer it just shows netbt error in system

It may surely be a hardware or driver conflict.
U say that u "changed mobo from 650i xfx to asus p5nesli without reinstalling windows". Maybe the old drivers are not compatible with new board or are conflicting.
Or maybe the HAL is damaged, but I doubt that.
Overheating is a sure suspect.

u may also try doing a clean install of windows.
if problem still persists, then is hardware problem like overheating or RAM problem.
