I am looking to upgrade my system completely. The new sysytem i want to build shud be future proof (i.e. Crysis 2,Diablo 3 proof).

I plan to upgrade my PC in 2 stages. I plan on getting a monitor, mouse, headphones now. In december when hopefully Crysis 2 and Diablo 3 will be out i will upgrade my CPU.

I need your views on this plan of myn, whether it is feasible and if i shud carry it out.
Secondly,i need to know which is the best pair of headphones under 4k and a Gaming mouse with a similar budget.

no sense in buying cpu in december. buy core 2 duo or lynfield based system now.

and when sandy bridge and AMD llano arrive in the first quarter of 2011 buy a new mobo and cpu.

monitor mouse and headphones wont play games.u need strong internal hardware.

nothings gonna change in december, u may even loose on what you can get now.

though , if you are upgrading your system, i would like to know your config.

and fill up the quesstionaire:

1. What is the purpose of the computer? (Note: If you are planning to say multimedia, you will have to be more specific as all types of systems are capable of doing that)
2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why?
3. What is your MAX budget?
4. Planning to overclock?
5. Which OS are you planning to use?
6. How much hard drive space is needed?
7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen?
8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
10. When are you planning to buy the system?
11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations?
12. Are there going to be any components that you don't want to include in this new rig? If yes, do mention.
13. Which city do you live in and are you open to buying from shops from other city/states?
14. Mention any other points if deemed necessary

for mice:
Gaming Mice : BuyGamingStuff.com

for head phones:
Headphones : BuyGamingStuff.com

respond with all details so u can be helped better
