Can Gmail Be Used With Outlook Express

Can Gmail be accessed through Outlook Express 6 (On Windows XP)?? If so, how?? I haven't used any email clients before with any of the email providers. Please help me configure Outlook Express for Gmail if it is possible.

yes, gmail can b accessed via outlook...do this:
log into ur gmail account, and click on settings....
then, click on forwarding and POP and set the options....
click on configure ur email client and select outlook express for windows...download the auto config tool and run it...u should b set after that

Sure.. can be done...

GMail - configure acc. to their site's instructions

Hotmail - easy to configure on OutLook as it is default...

Yahoo - use Yahoo! Pops

to start off, you have to enable the pop feature,
go to settings>pop & forwarding and enable it

now you have to setup your client go to *gmail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13276

or u can use the auto configuration tool
get it here *toolbar.google.com/gmail-helper/GmailConfig.exe

Didn't help. I was talkin about the Outlook Express not Microsoft Outlook that comes with officepackage.............

First u have to enable the POP3 support from ur mail box setting-tag..
Setting->Fowardin and POP->enable
And u just download the GmailCinfif tool form the following link:
*toolbar.google.com/gmail-helper/GmailConfig.exe to configure for ur Outlook Express automatically......
