1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:
games like watch dog, dota 2, runes of magic, crysis 3
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:
75k
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:
yes
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:
win 7
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:
1 tb + ssd if possible in budget
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:
yes. Full HD 21-22 inches
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:
will buy everything
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:
this month
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:
have experienced friends
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:
ahmedabad, open to buy online
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I have a tentative rig, can you plz optimize it or suggest something better as it is going over budget

why overclock/FX8320/Rs.7000 cooler when all that is listed under main usage/purpose is games?at full HD resolutions graphics card is much more important than processor & i don't think there will be a game coming in next 4 years which will list minimum requirement to even install as 6/8 cores & even if it does rest assured that no current system of today will be able to play that game smoothly.non-k core i5+a powerful graphics card is more than enough for gaming currently & for coming 3-4 years not to mention power savings as overclocking 8320(or even core i5) is quite power consuming.

I agree. OP mentioned over clocking and ashish suggested a great non over clocking rig. If he wants to go with non ocing, he can go with ashish's suggestion with probably Kingston 120gb v300 ssd and caviar blue for storage

Hello everyone, I have decided not to OC my processor and am going with the following rig, mostly suggested by ashish:
i5 4670 - 15750
gigabyte h87m- 7767
kingston Hyperx blue 4GB x 2-4806
Corsair TX 750- 7200
sapphire dual x R9 280x -24315(just paid to MD Comp online)
WD Blue 1TB- 4100
Antex Gx 700- 4400

I have bought a 26" Sony bravia so no more monitor.
Any comments?

For a single r9-280x, seasonic s12ii 620w is sufficient and it is a very good psu.

Better spend extra money on asus 280x (24.5k on md computers. Call them to see if they can change your order. Sapphire is equally good but asus has better service) and get Corsair 400R instead of gx 700

I can get 4570, but was thinking 4670 is better. Are suggesting that the price to performance ratio is lower in 4670? I think can afford that much(if its merely 1K) unless there is any other reason.
The specs given with all the R9 280X is that it requires 750W. so if I plan to Crossfire it, shouldn't I take >=750w? I mean I get that only R9 280x will work with 620W, but to be future proof is 750W an overkill?

at what price are you getting i5 4570?
if you may CF later, get seasonic m12 ii 750. you can also consider tx 850v2,750 v2 etc. but my vote goes for seasonic

Just to make sure, you are talking about gigabyte H87m DH3, right? The official page specifies the PCIe slots to be x16 and x4 and no were mentioned that they will run at x8-x8 in CF.

OP mentioned h87M.also CF works with X16-X4 speed but not recommended

Sorry, typed the other board name. i wa also referring to h87M DH3. CF in x16-x4 is not at all recommended. OP shouldn't even consider the thought of CF on that board. Anything below x8-x8 is essentially useless.

wao.. these replies cleared my mind. Thank u all .. I got the point of not taking 4670. and I didn't know x16-x4 CF is useless.
And about 750W requirement, Sapphire's oficial page, MD comp's details page, everywhere it's mentioned like that.750W.
If I am not CFing, then I think 620seasonic(80plus bronze) is best.
between,MD comp did not process my payment for sapphire dual x r9 280x as it just went out of stock. So I will go with the asus one. :)
