Right off the assembly line
Hi, currently i'm on BNSL broadband in Allahabad which gives a ping of around 220 ms for EU servers. I will be moving to lucknow soon and I want the best possible ISP for gaming in terms of ping to EU/SEA servers. I once tried spectranet fiber while I was in delhi which gave me around 140 ms ping to EU servers, I am looking for something like that in lucknow too.
My requirements :
1. The routing should be good to EU servers as the game which I play (quake champions) has a big presence in EU. However good pings to SEA servers are a bonus ofcourse
2. I prefer fiber optic internet ofcourse as it's faster than Broadband, but I don't know about optic fiber providers in lucknow.
3. My budget is around 4000-5000 but there is room for improvement in that.
I was considering going BSNL FTTH as I am of the impression that routing would remain the same but will be on an advanced fiber line(BSNL' routing to EU is good), but them I came across airtel v fiber, tikona, sika and others. So please share your experiences with pings with different ISPs to EU and SEA servers. Thanks.
