What The.... !!!
Hi guys
Yesterday i got a free Avira Security Suite Key(Legal) from a giveaway
the key is valid for 92 days till 20th December 2010 :D

so i uninstalled my Avira Antivir Personal and installed the Avira Premium Security Suite
i updated the program and ran full system check
disabled the firewall(i have Comodo free firewall) :geek:

but when i restarted the computer it gave me BSOD
i restarted again twice and it BSODed again and again :x

so i finally activated windows repair module and reverted to the last System Restore point
on startup, i found Avira Security suite gone and a dialog box with this message:-

^^ this happened once before too i think when you used a giveaway (or maybe deliberately hacked & modified) key. maybe avira using the old key instead of new one.

What The.... !!!
Avira Premium Security Suite BSOD on startup - AntiVir Premium und Avira Premium Security Suite - Avira Support Forum
ok i have finally got the answer from Avira Forum Moderators
it turns out that the firewalls(Comodo and Avira) clashed with each other and that caused the memory to overflow
if i want to keep Comodo Firewall, then simple disabling the Avira Firewall won't work
i have uninstall the Avira Firewall selectively!!

the forum people at Avira and Comodo are a really helpful bunch!! :)
