In short, i have no idea why have i purchased this ?? But quite happy with the device after 10minutes of struggle with registrations & device setup & 50 mins of Music...

Damage : ~~300euros.~~ 270 euros...

Damn it costed u just 270.00 EUR = 18,940.20 INR

packaging box is same as old gen 4..but device is brilliant..u like black?
headphones have just awesome sound..can compete with other IEM brands...
I have checked the sound quality of those & Bass level is amazing
costs 3.8k if purchased separately

Thanks. Actual price is 300, but i can save 10% due to tax rebate. After deductions its 270.

Black goes nice with my personality...so I GOT THE BRAGGING RIGHTs to own a BLACK device. Just kidding..the color looks more decent, nothing funky.

Regarding the earphone, i would say they outperform my Bose Over the ear Headphones with different tracks with the same device. [I have done my home work, before i say this line.]

Its supports both avi, mp4 without any further encoding or conversion to *.mov. This time they included a 5MP sensor with flash. Being 5MP the camera snaps good image under sunlight & fluorescent light.

Regarding the device, i like the Voice Control, Siri & sound quality. Only lag which i had atm is "this device doesn't support flac, so i need to convert them to either 256 or 320kbps for usage with it".

Rest everything is just cool as the device. Specially the form factor. I need to search my jeans pockets some time in order to find, where i have kept the device, coz of its weight & slimness.

Expecting to pay through my nose for the apps from now onwards.

MP4 was supported previously also..coz my ipod can play mp4 without conversion.

true..but u can use FLAC player app to play those files

The I-pod is definitely a great pmp, but not necessarily the best audio you can get.
The audio on the 4th gen i-pod sucked to be frank.

I just wanted to know if there is any improvement over the 4th gen i-pod in terms of audio quality.

Yes, the SQ has been upgraded. I feel more bass punch & sound clarity with the new ipods, compared to Nano & 4th gen. I have been hunting down a lot friends just to compare the SQ. Not only the SQ, the Video playback is also upgraded..
