i also highly recommend watching Fauda-an Israeli Tv series based on the Israeli Palestine conflict.All 4 seasons of it are really good.

Hit and run features the same actor in the lead role (Lior Raz) as in Fauda-both of them happen to be Israeli Tv shows. It seems Israeli actors/directors are really good at making such suspenseful and edge of one's seat type thrillers featuring a lot of surprising twists in the story that keeps the viewer enthralled.
