A query about laptop graphics card

well im in a delima
the thing is i wanna buy a laptop on which i can play games.. even if i cant play games with all settings high.. even med settings will do..

i have seen that most laptops come with an nvidia 8400m graphics card
how do they fare when playing games

there are select laptops with 8600.. but they tend to be more expensive that 8400

so what i would like to know is, is it worth it?
i mean if i were to pay more and go for a lappy with 8600 will the differnce in the games be that noticable??

i need your suggestion asap... cause dad might be buying the laptop in 1-2 days..

ya 8600m gt really outperforms the 8400m series due to ddr3 memory . i hav rarely seen a 8400m gt with ddr3

my suggestion go for dell 1530 laptop as its the cheapest laptop available in india with 8600m gt card .

try to buy the dell using the EPP-employee purchased product programme , u may get 15-20% discount reducing the cost near or below 50k

well as far as the disc is concerned .. its out of the question
but i have configuerd a good dell lappy
but the thing is .. even 8600 comes with 256 ddr2 ..what is that all about...

means ddr3 is greater than ddr2...

before you buy..you might wanted to research problems with this range online...i m not sayin this model has a problem..

it makes sense to find out before you buy any product
