Hey guys, Can I use 3 Ram Sticks on a motherboard that support duel channel?

My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H and CPU i5 3450. It already had 2 sticks of 2gb ram, can I add one more stick of 2gb? Is it decrease or increase system performance?

> Yes you can. The dual channel only means that if you insert two RAM sticks of same size and same speeds and timings then they will work in dual channel mode.

> The minor increase or decrease in performance will not be visible anyways.

Thanks for your answer sir. :)
Can you tell me please either increase or decrease in performance ?

I just want to sure is it worth adding single memory sticks or not.

Add two more, and you will get better performance. Better to pair always.

Windows Experience Index is mostly crap. You need better benchmark. Like PassMark Software - Memory Benchmark Charts.

Others correct me if I am wrong, but FPS in gaming is the best benchmark. But I guess the difference won't be that noticeable with only RAM upgrade.
