27inc Monitor Purchase Help

I have a 24inch samsung and would like to buy a 27inch 2650x1440p since its the future and a 1080p is going to be phased out soon. I found a BENQ GW2765HT QHD for 36k and a LG 27UD68 4k monitor for 38k. Since both are almost in same price range and specs and reviews are good which one should i go for. I read lots of negative reviews of 1440p monitors, about 720 videos looking bad etc and games not playing with extra fps in 4k Monitors. I cannot invest everytime in a monitor hence i want to buy and not look back for another 7-8 yrs from now. I was initially considering a 1080p still lots of bad reviews of fonts looking pixelated etc. Help me to make a choice coz im confused from past many days hence i came to this forum.

What is your current GPU? If you want smooth 4k gameplay at high settings, you need to have at least a GTX 1080.

Budget - 35k
Dispay Type & Size - 2560x1440p or 4K if necessary....1080p least. 27inch.
Primary Use of Monitor - Casual Surfing,Occasional Gaming, Watching movies,Graphic webdesign.
Ports Required - DVI,HDMI etc.
Preferred Choice of Brand- LG,BENQ,DELLAOC. mostly first 2 preferred.
Any Monitor in Consideration - BENQ GW2765HT (QHD),LG 27UD68p (4K),BENQ EW2775ZH(1080P) AND DELL KYKMD 27inch 1080p.
Any Other Info you want to share - Since 5k is about to debut in late 2018 will purchasing a 4k now be a good decision or should i stick to 2560x1440 Quad HD monitors in the middle. FHD 1080p is also a sweet spot but reviews say large screen pixelated text is a putoff, is it that bad? But companies are still churning out Monitors in the FHD category with high refresh rates.

Kindly provide me a good solution as this all is new to me.

My GPU is a MSI/AMD/ATI R9 270X GAMING 2G 2GB GDDR5 Graphics card.
