I've all but finalized the Moto X Play which will launch tomorrow at 18k and 20k I think for 16GB and 32GB respectively.

If you don't want the 615(frankly I don't like it either), then go for Mi 4 or better yet Nexus 6, it will have sell as soon as new Nexus are announced. If you're ok with a 32bit cpu then Nexus 6 provides massive vfm now. I am just afraid that Google might focus more on 64bit in future and I'd like to ride the bandwagon :D

I had the ZF2 in mind as well, the laser model with SD615 and 720p display @ 14k, but it's nowhere near launch ATM.

Mi 4c is slated to come in future with SD808 @ less than 20k, but the fact that it will be 16GB without micro sd completely turned me off, there will be a 32GB model but it will most probably not come to India.

Moto X play with 615 and 2GB RAM. Do you think that it would last for atleast 2 years?

Mi4c with 16gb won't be enough for me. Atleast 32gb is required.

ZF2 may release on 21st September.

I was originally gonna wait for Nexus 5(2015) but my s4 died suddenly

Do you want this thread to turn into a Warzone? :D

There's a reason Apple makes such huge profit on an iphone, they do the marketing right.
Sheeple will buy any crap with apple's logo on it.

Since you are back to square one, LG G3 Shine 32GB Black and Gold: Buy LG G3 Shine 32GB Black and Gold Online at Low Price in India - Snapdeal.com is for 28.5k. Seek some coupons to see if it comes under your budget.

X Style then.
Either that or if its battery life is not upto the mark then Nexus 5.

Heard it had a pathetic battery life. Need to go take a look. Also Nexus 6 should start dropping soon.

It always feels nice to purchase a newly released phone, get to enjoy it for a lot longer and get support, if going with 2014 phone Nexus 6 would be the better option I think, minus the camera.

iPhones can't justify the price they charge

My Z3C is better than iphone 6 overall (even though iphone has a betetr build quality but price isn't justifiable)

Well you will never know until you use it. Had same thoughts before switching to it.

Qualcomm screwed up this generations. All the phones released in this gen suffers from some sort of compromises. Either the camera or the battery or the cpu. The SD80x wielding phones were the last no compromise phones. So I've decided to wait till nexus launch. If they suck I'll just buy a cheap 10k phone for now and wait for next gen. Or better yet I'll just replace the battery of my G2 and use it for one more year.

None of the phones released so far this year can serve as a proper replacement for my G2. Sad year for Android.

Except for performance, I think Moto X Play is a good phone

Also Sony M5 is a good device but Sony didn't price it right. I was excepting it to be launched at around 26-28k.... 35k is too much

Waiting for a year would be a nice idea, as after the launch of S7, S6 might get below 25k price mark

Im in the same boat too. Looking for a device that I will be happy to hold on to as my primary device for the next 2-3 yrs or more.

Currently biding time with my L720. Have a few hopes with next Nexus 5.

Considering the Moto X Play and still researching a little about it watching detailed review videos, i dont know whether i will need the gyro as i dont play many games, but certainly good to have (especially expect most of these to be present on phones costing 20k or more). What I'm more skeptical about is the performance of X Play with SD615, dont wanna see lags etc after installing many apps.

Will go for Moto g3/zenfone laser (or a new WP+Android Tab combo) if i dont find anything interesting in next few days.

I'd rather purchase the S6 Edge plus, that display is uber cool.

20K or more? The gyro is there on the sub 10k Asus Zenfone 2 Laser. Its very common these days. Its like buying a laptop without a bluetooth.

PS: Moto G3 lacks the Gyro as well, plus support for upto 32GB SD card. Better to go for Zenfone 2 Laser. Bigger battery, more sd card support(128GB) and the gyro. It lacks waterproof body and in the camera department. Take your pick. I'd have gone for the Laser.

Ordered the Moto X Play 32gb black on cod. Scheduled to arrive on 01st Oct. Will cancel if there is news about x style or nexus launching soon. Otherwise too I think I should be happy with the X Play.

Do let us know the experience. It's a fantastic device, if you are not bothered about the gyro. Post some sample camera pics.
