monitoring Headphones

I need monitoring Headphones for 1000 - 2000 .

I need it for monitoring the quality of sound and recording.

As already said above you need to increase the budget at least by 3 times .
Look out for Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. Will set you back by around 6.4k.
Personally am using Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro. Am in love with it.

I Just need to monitor the voice over !! nothing very serious. So can you guys suggest me according to that?

Is anyone here Linked with Voice over or Broadcasting? I really need a helpin microphone section as well.

if you dont intend to do use it professionally get a gaming headset, for a good mic. It will be more than enough

Hmm, then look out for Sennheiser HD 408 or the JBL Tempo. I thought you were some artist recording in a music studio.
Btw what's your budget for the mic?

the sony MDR 7506 is also a good one. BD DT 770 Pro, where did you get that ?!

I got it from the US. Had my Dad bring it while he was there.
Haven't used the Sony one yet, but have read good review about it.
